Online Therapy Process

Seeking therapy is a positive step toward change
I want to partner with you in learning about yourself and what might be getting in the way of being happy. I know it can be overwhelming and hard to know where to start. I can help with that! Let’s start with giving you a clear understanding about how online therapy works and how to get the most out of it.

Therapy supports growth; such as increased insight and solutions into the challenges you are facing, improved relationships, and a decrease in your level of stress.

During our first 75 minute intake session we will talk about your goals, what you are hoping to gain from therapy and what you would like life to look like when you are done. I want you to meet your goals so you can move on from therapy and live your life.

I will ask you a TON of questions and go in depth to get a sense of who you are, what you are struggling with and what strengths and resiliency factors you bring to the table. I want to get a sense of how we can work together to get you to where you want to be. 


From there, we will book our regular sessions. Online therapy is typically for weekly 50-minute sessions. Our weekly sessions are an important way for us to gain momentum on reaching your goals. As you make progress, we can talk about moving our sessions to every other week or monthly sessions if that seems more appropriate.

We will both know when we are getting close to the end of treatment because we will have worked on your goals early in our treatment, checked in on progress and seen that you’ve reached them!
